My Adventure to get to Logan Airport

 Hey everybody,
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted!  Things have been busy as usual. I have a few hours now though. I'm currently at Boston Logan International Airport, where I have been for two hours and will still be for another six!

Yesterday was a really funny, crazy day. After booking my flight the week before, and searching very hard to find a ride to Boston (from where I booked my flight to Chicago O'Hare, $155 round trip!) I finally found some people from BBC who were planning on driving right through Boston.  They were planning on renting a car to go down.  So they said that they would take me with them.  So, right after my last class yesterday, I ran up the hill and met up with Shane and Deborah, and the three of us got into Pat D's car, who lives in St. John, the place from where we're supposed to pick up the rental car at 4:30 (and it's a little after 3:30 at this time). About five minutes out of town, Pat pulled over to the side of the road.  I asked what was going on and he said that his engine was overheating.  When he looked, not only was the engine overheating, but the whole belt had come off!  In the meantime, it's pushing dangerously close to 4:30, and we are nowhere near St. John, so Deborah, Shane and I decide to wave down another car to drive the rest of the way back in.  No car stopped...but an ambulence did!  They were just making sure that everyone was alright, since the snow storm was just starting.  But when the passenger opened the door, Deborah realized it was Dwayne, a paramedic that she had worked at in her summer camp! So Dwayne said they'd give us a ride, but as we were riding in the back of the ambulence, they got a call that there had been an accident just down the road!  They turned on the sirens and lights and everything!  Right before they got to the point where they were supposed to check out the accident, they let us off at an intersection right in front of a gas station...out of the back of the door, lights still going and everything! How strange that must have looked!  We were still about ten minutes out of St. John, however, but now we had until 5:30 because Dwayne had called the rental car place and let them know what was happening.  So we asked random people if they were heading that direction until finally a young guy came up to us and offered to take us there.  His name was Adam, too! That was pretty cool.  He said that his dream was to see everybody be educated in the way they learn best, so that everyone could reach their full potential and change the world!  Unfortunately, that conversation was cut short because we were finally at Budget.
Shane signed off for the rental car...no nasty fine-print surprises there!...and we were on our way back to campus.  We had to travel slower, and we got into a traffic jam because of the accident (which Dwayne and Al, the driver, were not at to our disappointment), so we didn't get any supper, but we finally made it back to campus at about 6:30ish.  I called Allegra to let her know why I hadn't said goodbye earlier (since it was well past time when I had said I'd call), which was nice, but sad at the same time, because now that I'm here, I probably won't get to talk to her much, until we're together in person!  Anyway, the other people coming with us got all their stuff packed in the car and we finally left campus for good (or at least for Spring Break) at 7:30. Fourteen hours later, here I am, sitting in Boston Logan International Airport, writing the story, on minimal sleep, no food, deodorant and shampoo forced to throw out, but I am good because God is great! :) His heart has ministered to mine so much lately.  May His blessings richly pour out on you too, even in times when you would externally not be doing so great.
